Claire Gillam is a biology enthusiast and artist based in Melbourne, Vic. Utilising a broad range of multimedia and sculptural techniques, their practice is based on facilitating communications between human and plant life. Using instruments, music, bio-electronics, and algorithmic systems, Claire has attempted to build physiological props that bridge the gap that distances flora from persons to help ecologies interact creativity with human collaborative partners. 

Claire is studying a Graduate Diploma in Museum Studies at Deakin University and has fringe interests in painting, ceramics, and robotics. Claire has previously exhibited at Kidogo Gallery, Fremantle (2017) and Hatched, PICA (2018).
